Peoria Rivermen x Looney Tunes Night 2026 Special Hockey Jersey

The worlds of professional minor league hockey and classic animation are set to collide in spectacular fashion. The Peoria Rivermen have announced one of the most anticipated promotional events of the 2026 season: Looney Tunes Night at the Rink. Scheduled for Friday, February 20th, 2026, this event promises not just a thrilling matchup on the ice but also an exclusive merchandise drop that has collectors and fans buzzing. The centerpiece of this celebration is the Peoria Rivermen x Looney Tunes Night 2026 Special Hockey Jersey, a garment that perfectly blends athletic grit with the whimsical charm of the Golden Age of Animation.

The Ultimate Fan Experience: Looney Tunes Night 2026

Mark your calendars for a Friday night showdown that will go down in SPHL history. The puck drops at 7:15 PM as the Rivermen host their fierce rivals, the Evansville Thunderbolts. While the action on the ice is guaranteed to be intense, the atmosphere in the arena will be transformed by the zany energy of Warner Bros.’ most iconic characters.

Sponsored by Koch Konstruction Inc., this themed night is more than just a game; it is a celebration of pop culture heritage. For fans attending the game, this is a unique opportunity to witness the Rivermen don these custom uniforms, bringing a sense of fun and levity to the fast-paced, hard-hitting world of hockey. The integration of Looney Tunes branding into a professional sports environment speaks to the enduring legacy of these characters, appealing to young fans and nostalgic adults alike.

A Closer Look: The Jersey Design and Aesthetics

The 2026 Special Hockey Jersey is a triumph of sublimation design, featuring a crisp white base that allows the vibrant colors of the characters to pop. The designers have utilized a classic patriotic color palette—red, white, and blue—to align with both the Rivermen’s identity and the traditional American animation style.

Front Design: Iconic Characters Meet Team Pride

The front of the jersey is dominated by the legendary Looney Tunes concentric circle logo, instantly recognizable to anyone who grew up watching Saturday morning cartoons. Flanking this central emblem are two of the biggest stars in animation history. To the left, the incomparable Bugs Bunny stands tall, exuding his trademark confident, trickster energy. To the right, Daffy Duck appears, adding his chaotic and lovable personality to the mix.

Scattered across the white background are black and orange stars, adding a dynamic, festive texture to the fabric. The Peoria Rivermen nautical logo is proudly displayed near the hem, grounding the whimsical design in professional sports legitimacy. The shoulders feature red panels, while the sponsor logo for Koch Konstruction sits on the upper chest, ensuring the local partnership is highlighted without detracting from the overall artistic vision.

Back Design: The Chase is On

Turn the jersey around, and the narrative continues. The back of the uniform features the eternal struggle between Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner. Depicted near the bottom hem, Wile E. Coyote is shown in a moment of scheming contemplation, while the Road Runner speeds by, adding a sense of motion and speed that parallels the hockey game itself.

The jersey is designed to be fully customizable. The mock-up displays “ANY NAME” and the number “00” in a bold, gold font with blue outlining, ensuring that the player’s name and number are legible from the furthest seats in the arena. This high-contrast typography complements the gold accents found in the surrounding stars and the iconic Looney Tunes rings.

Collector’s Appeal and Matching Merchandise

No hockey ensemble is complete without the right accessories. Alongside the jersey, the promotional visual reveals a matching snapback cap. The hat mirrors the jersey’s aesthetic, featuring a tri-color design with the characters prominently embroidered on the front. This cohesive collection makes the Peoria Rivermen x Looney Tunes gear a must-have for jersey collectors, animation historians, and die-hard SPHL fans.

Whether you are cheering from the glass at the arena or representing the Rivermen from afar, this 2026 Special Hockey Jersey represents a unique moment in sports marketing. It captures the joy of the game and the timeless appeal of cartoons, proving that “That’s All Folks” is never really the end when it comes to great design.
